Did you know that you can have an Occupational Therapist (OT) ‘on call’ to support you at home, from our home?

Initially, we will dedicate a minimum of 1 hour per day to be available to speak to interested families – however if you would like to pre-book a specific time slot with us then we will be happy to arrange a time that suits you for a 1:1 meeting.

Your allocated Occupational Therapist will work with you and/or the person you support to prioritise what your hopes, wants and needs are, then provide you with immediate resources that are available (from & relevant linked partners).

As appropriate, we will signpost you onto relevant services & resources that we feel would help!

OT on Call times start from:

Monday- 10:00-11:00

Tuesday- 15:00-16:00

Wednesday- 15:00-16:00

Thursday- 15:00-16:00

Friday- 10:00-11:00

Please note: OT On Call is not intended to be used for OT time towards delivering targeted or specialist interventions e.g. specific online therapy/ virtual assessments and/or report writing.

bOunceT does not have a duty of care at this level of intervention, although we will work with you to help address and support your immediate needs or wants (within our scope of practice as a service and as individual Occupational Therapists).

If you would like, or require, specific targeted and/or specialist support with one of our Occupational Therapists then we can liaise with you to create a short proposal (free of charge) and review with you if this is appropriate. We can support you to find out how this intervention(s) might be funded and by who (e.g. direct payments, local authority/ social services funding, your own payments).

Alternatively, we will be able to support you to find alternative sources of support e.g. Occupational Therapy interventions from local authority and/or NHS services; other Independent Occupational Therapists, and/or relevant third sector organisations who can provide support and help.
