I am very excited to be part of the amazing bOunceT family.

At BounceOT (bOunceT) we recently recruited 3 part time staff as Play Leader’s! This was part of the bank recruitment model that we blogged about a few months ago –

You can read the blog here! ‘‘Bank’ staff recruitment model adopted by bOunceT – Hiring Now!’

Jenny, Murray & Roxanne have all come into the team and are excited to start working with families across a Monday – Sunday timetable.

They will add onto our core team – Eliza and Brian – who both coordinate and deliver a range of therapeutic play and 1:1 targeted activity sessions with families already.

A little bit about Jennifer…

I am very excited to be part of the amazing bOunceT family. I brought my son Finlay every week and was amazed at how impressive this service was becoming as it evolved.

The benefits to Finlay were massive and I loved how much joy it brought to my boy’s short life. My passion is all things sensory and in my other job I am a sensory play facilitator for preschool age.

I have been involved with the service right from the early days when Callum only had a big trampoline in a bare room and a head full of exciting ideas!

I look forward to being part of the team that brings so many benefits and so much joy to so many. To get to know the inspirational people I will be working is going to be an absolute pleasure and a privilege.

A little bit about Murray…

I applied to work at BounceOT as my genuine passion is working with those with disabilities. After spending 2 summers working in New York at a summer camp for kids and young adults with both physical and developmental disabilities I knew I wanted to find something at home where I could use what I have learned and grow new skills and bounce was the perfect place for me.

As a Play Leader at bOunceT, I get to spend each day working with incredible people and getting to know each individual. My first few months at bounce have been great and I can’t wait to see what the new year holds!

I have already been able to learn so much working at Scottish Autism‘s New Struan School in Alloa!

A little bit about Roxanne…

I am a mum to two boys and have a job history in retail management, the charity sector and have also ran my own business helping local families with using a sling to carry their child.

I hope to gain more knowledge about supporting those with additional support needs and how rebound therapy and wider occupational therapy principles can assist in this.

I applied for the play leader position as I have an interest in helping those with additional support needs and I liked the ethos of bOunceT.  I am looking forward to meeting and working with the families that use the service and watching the development of those that do. In my spare time I enjoy paddleboarding on the local lochs and canals.

Thanks for taking the time to read this update about our ever growing team, and ever developing services 😃

Keep an eye out for more updates in the coming weeks!
