Recruiting: Parent Partner’s

Are you a parent, or unpaid carer of a child or adult who accesses support from bOunceT? Could you help bOunceT by becoming a parent partner?

Here at bOunceT, we always treat parents as partner’s in our practice. In fact, we pride ourselves in doing this compared to other services – including some statutory services who commonly work professional to professional – or team to team – then only ‘report’ or ‘feedback’ to parents and carers.

However, the more official phrase of being a ‘parent partner’ at bOunceT means you will give your time as a volunteer to meet our Leadership Team (face to face or online via MS Teams). We try to meet all parent partners (1:1 or in a group) up to 4 times a year. There is no pressure this many times per year, and we do not require a parent partner to sign anything that will ‘hold them’ to volunteering in this role.

Simply, we want to hear from you about your experiences with us (and other services) to learn how we can do our work better (and how we can work with other services better) to better support you and your family.

Don’t want to be a Parent Partner, but still want to help??

There are other ways you can support us, with or without ‘taking on responsibility’ (e.g. officially becoming a Director in the company).
